一年前曾有消息，20世纪福克斯起用凯尔·瓦德（新作布鲁斯·威利斯《凯恩和林奇》）撰写《杀手：代号47》第二集的剧本，近日传出最新进展，西班牙导演丹尼尔·本梅尔将出任续集导演，这也是他执导的第一部好莱坞大片。
　《杀手：代号47》成本仅3000万美元，但2007年在全球创下1亿美元的票房（不含DVD销售收入），这已经算是一个不错的成绩，所以影迷对于续集的开拍自然也十分期待。目前对于主演蒂莫西·奥利芬特是否会回归第二集尚无定论，鉴于他目前已经与另外一部电影签约，所以目前来看他的出演只是一个可能性。
　《杀手：代号47》第二集将是丹尼尔·本梅尔执导的第一部好莱坞大片，他的导演处女作
是动作恐怖片《彩弹球》，讲述丛林中的彩弹球比赛逐渐演变成一场生死存亡的窒息追逐
